Tired of the driving instructor with little or no patience? Are you sick of being charged over $300 for lessons, and your child never learning how to drive, or being nervous behind the wheel?
Then try Texas Driver's Ed. You, a trusted teacher of your child, can be his or her teacher behind the wheel.
At Fast Drivers Ed Online, we want to make it convenient as possible for you and your high school student.
An Online Course
Your child spends much time on the Internet as it is. Why not help him spend some of that time doing something that will help him in life, such as learning how to drive? We offer two areas of instruction: the coursework and the on-the-road experience.
Both are crucial to learning all you need to know. And we at Fast Drivers Ed Online attempt to make your teen's driver's education experience a fun one, and an educational one as well. We use 3D animation, videos, and case studies, and also we go over the Texas traffic laws, as well as techniques for safe driving so your child can develop as a safe, confident driver behind the wheel.
We help you teach your child about dangerous situations, helping him or her to avoid them, or at least to navigate safely through them.
Fulfills State Requirements for 14-17 Year-Olds Learning to Drive
This course teaches defensive driving, a skill a driver must have. Defensive driving is a principle that assumes that you are the only one out on the road who is concerned about following the rules of the road. Therefore, it behooves you to be watching for the ones who do not care about traffic laws. It is almost as important as your student's Texas drivers education courses. Indeed, the defensive driver is aware that there distracted drivers on the road, as well as drivers with problems such as road rage.
Also, this course gives your child the 32 hours of in-class education he or she needs to be eligible for a license in the state of Texas, as well as the 44 hours of driver's training he or she must have. Our quality course materials will prepare you for the test that must be taken too.
So don't wait! Enroll your teen today. Download your application. Fill it out, and mail it to the TDLR. Then finish the first unit of the material in the course. Then take and pass the permit test. Then begin the in-car lessons, and finish the required 44 driving hours. And remember that this course is parent taught. You will have the exciting adventure of helping your own child navigate the process of learning to drive!
Driving for the teenager can be difficult. It involves knowing the rules of the road and having good judgment. It requires mastery of a technique called defensive driving. It requires the know-how provided by a course such as the Online California Drivers Ed course. Encouraging your son or daughter to take an online drivers course would be perfect if he or she enjoys surfing the Internet anyway.
The Contents of the Course
The online driving course has 15 units. The first of these explains to your child that driving is the driver's responsibility. It sounds very obvious. However, many teens don't always act as if they realize what that means. What it means is that every moment that the driver is behind the wheel of a car, he not only has his own life in his hands, but also that of his passengers, pedestrians, children, animals, or whatever happens to be in front of him. You must be watching what is in front of you at all times. Any slip or distraction can cause an accident.
Unit 3 is especially important, for it is the portion that talks about the natural forces that affect the driver. The weather, for example, is one of those things. Allow a little more time when it's raining really hard--or snowing.
Unit 5 explains the rules of the road, while Unit 7 talks about the differences between urban and rural driving. There's a difference between the way you drive on a Los Angeles freeway, and driving in a more rural town setting.
Unit 10 talks about the importance of the obedience of laws governing alcohol and drugs. Unit 12 teaches about risk taking. Teens often like to take risks, because it's proven that persons your child's age think they're invincible, and that accidents and deaths only happen to others.
In the State of California, you must be between the ages of 15 and a half to 17 to start an online driver training program. Also, you must have completed an approved driver training course. Then you must pass a traffic laws and signs test, and get 39 out of 46 of the questions right. There are three chances to pass this examination. You must also complete the DL 44 application with parents and/or guardians' signatures on them.
The Conclusion of the Matter
We offer this driving course online to prepare your teenager for what they will need to know to drive safely and successfully in the State of California. We try to make it the ultimate learning experience for your child by placing it on a forum your teen probably is very familiar with already: the Internet.
Most drivers remember their first driving lessons.
They were taught to drive by their parents, another family member, or peers.
Generally, the average person first gets behind the wheel to drive at about age 15 or 16.
Of course, the parental teacher, or friend knows the mechanics about driving, but they are not the best one's to teach a teenager to drive a car.
Therefore, online Texas Drivers Ed is a very good option. Better than parent taught drivers Ed in some circumstances. The statistics prove that a driver's training course is the best way for a young teen to learn to drive. Let's take a closer look.
Texas Drivers Ed
Of course, a parent or other non-professional might be able to show the way to operate the car, get on the road, and to park the car. The fact is that there are certain rules and regulations that the teen has to follow when they have a vehicle on the road.
Many non-professionals are not aware of the recent laws or changes to the laws in the state. Certainly, parents want their young drivers to stay safe. We believe that a professional online traffic school is the best training course for those anxious teens eager to get their driver's license.
The facts speak for themselves. The teens most likely to get in a traffic accident are between 15 to 17. Those are the formative driving years. It is important that they learn through professionals the proper way to handle a vehicle on the road. We found that teens that learn to drive through sources like drivers ed in Texas are less likely to have a serious crash or any type accident while behind the wheel of a car.
Taking a driver's ed class is the law in most states too. This is something that is important to consider. Of course, we believe that we provide the best learning experience for your young teen. Online traffic school provides a convenient and fun learning experience for the teen.

One of the most obvious signs that a teen is maturing into an adult has to do with their desire to learn how to drive. Many teens between the ages of 14 – 18 can learn how to drive within the state of Texas by taking a driving training course.
Traditionally, most teens learn how drive from training school or from someone that they know. A student must complete their Texas drivers ed before behind the wheel (if required) and ultimately getting their license.
Another way that they can learn how to operate a motor vehicle is by taking an online drivers course over the internet. Online traffic school can efficiently, quickly and accurately teach Texas teens how to drive.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is a part of the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in Texas. This government organization establishes rules for teen and young adult drivers for their Learners Permit. These rules state:
*All teens and young adults under the age of 25 must complete an approved driver's education course.
*Teens can take this course when they are 14-years-old, and then work to receive their license once they are 15.
Teens and young adults have three ways to complete their training. They can attend an approved for-profit driving training school, sign up for public school driver education or they can learn by parent-taught drivers ed. Within the state of Texas parents can teach their children how to drive but they will have to complete the written portion online at FastDriversEd.com. An online traffic school can be used to teach young drivers as well.
*All drivers ed courses must include 32 hours of classroom instruction.
*Public safety driving schools could probably require more hours.
*All drivers ed courses will require 44 hours of behind the wheel training.
Teens and young adults in Texas are also required to watch the Impact Texas Teen Drivers video about distracted driving. Teens that do not watch this video will not be eligible to take their drivings skills test. They will then be given an ITTD Certificate of Completion. This certificate has to be presented before a teen or young adult can take the skills exam. A person must take their skills exams within 90 days before their certificate expires.
Once a person passes their exam they will receive their learners permit and complete Phase One of the licensing process.
Young driving students will also need 30 hours of driver training with at least 10 of those hours taking place at night. The person providing the instruction must be at least 21-years-old to provide this type of training.
A teen or young adult must have their learner's permit for 6 months, have completed their 30 hours behind-the-wheel training and be at least 16-years-old before they can take their driving test. If they can pass their driving test they will receive their intermediate license which allows them to drive alone with specific restrictions. These restrictions do not allow:
*Teens to drive between midnight and 5 a.m.
*Teens to have more than 1 passenger under 21 years old who is not a family member.
*Teens to use wireless communication, hands-free or not, unless it is an emergency.
Once a teen turns 18 they will then be given regular driving status. Until that time, their driver's license will marked provisional.
Learning how to drive within the state of Texas is no easy matter for a young teen. However, with the proper training and the right attitude, a young person can learn how become a competent, efficient and a safe driver.
After taking another recent trip to Texas, the final strides have been taken to be able to provide quality Texas drivers ed online - a service that will benefit students and the community.
With that we are proud to announce, Fast Driver's Ed will soon be providing Texas Driver's Ed for students 14 years and older*.
Here at Texas Driver's Ed we have two goals: (1) to get students behind the wheel and (2) to make sure they can drive safely. In order to meet these goals we've created an online traffic school that helps lead parents through teaching their kids safe and effective driving. Our parent taught driver's ed meets Texas State law requirements and we believe, also leads to better and safer drivers.
We know that not all students learn in the same way or at the same pace, and with our curriculum, students can take as much time, or as little time, as they need on each learning unit.
At Fast Driver's Ed we believe that this will help decrease boredom (which can be a problem in a regular classroom setting) and lead to students being more focused on their own learning. This will lead to students better mastering the essential rules of the road and ultimately becoming safer drivers.
Not only that, but they can also learn from the comfort of their own home. This means no wasted time and gas to get to and from a Driver's Ed classroom. This equals more free time for both parent and student. Did we also mention that by taking our online course students can opt to take an online permit exam and bypass the written exam at the DPS when applying for a learner's permit?
This is more time savings for parents and students and less time waiting at the DPS. Currently, we are the only training course in Texas that allows students to work from home with a parent to meet their driving goals. Another benefit with parent taught driver's ed is that students get more individualized training than that which they'll get in a traditional driver's ed classroom.
Parents can work with their kids on problem areas and coach them throughout the whole learning process. With our training course, parents will know what to focus on with their kids in order to pass the written permit exam or the online permit exam. More importantly, you'll be able to work with your student on a skill that although necessary, can be hazardous to life if not done safely. Together, parents and students can work to make student driving safer.
* Please note that students must be 15 years of age to apply for a learner's permit.
Drivers Education is finally making its way to California! With Fast Drivers Ed Online, driving students are able to educate themselves on rules of the road so that they will be able to safely get behind the wheel of a motor vehicle.
With an online driving school, students have the opportunity to complete the course at their own pace, however still having the speed to finish it quickly if they choose to do so.
We also like that students can stay in the comfort of their own homes in their pajamas to learn how to drive! Our main goal, though, is to make sure that students are getting everything they would get if they took an in person driving course at the DMV. We want to encourage and ensure that our students are driving safely! And we know that they all will.
Some may be skeptical about taking an online traffic school rather than sitting in a classroom at the DMV but there are actually many advantages to taking California drivers ed online! First of all, the convenience! As we mentioned earlier, students can complete the course at their own pace. They can do it as fast or as slow as they would like to!
Everyone learns at different speeds so we believe it's very important to give students their room to breathe so there isn't as much pressure. There are also fewer distractions if the course is done at home. Some students attend the class because they have to, not because they want to. However, our traffic school is a fun and simple way to learn the road's rules that students enjoy doing! It's also extremely convenient and very inexpensive to do, considering you can take care of everything right from home.
This massive wave of popularity that has stormed Fast Drivers Ed is showing how quickly we are setting the pace for online drivers education. The initial rock of the roll out (of online drivers ed in CA) was steady and as students began to see how cool, fun, and easy it is to complete your online drivers ed with us; they began to share the news with friends which led to record breaking hits on our site. Those friends shared the news with even more of their friends which is why we decided to roll out drivers ed courses for each state in the U.S.
Overall, we believe our online driving and traffic school is a surefire way for students to quickly, but effectively, learn everything they need to know before taking the test to obtain their driver's license. Begin studying and drive safely!
